    Improvement of crushability

    Mineral sealing infill SBP is an inert product designed to isolate the explosives. The sealing infill SBP is created for “stoppage” of the detonation products, increasing the efficiency of the explosion, reducing the radius of rock mass movement. The sealing infill SPB is a shell made of a nonwoven material filled with a dry mineral mix. The infill is used in the mining and coal industry to fill the charging cavity pocket and to isolate the explosive material during the capital and preparatory mininig works with a drilling and blasting method

    APPLICATION TECHNIQUE

    The infilling works order of holes (wells) with the sealing infill:

    1. Filling the hole (well) with the sealing infill SBP is performed after placing the charge of explosives and blasting materials in it;
    2. Take out the required amount of the sealing infill SBP from the plastic bag, pay attention to prevent moisture ingress into the rest of the product;
    3. Visually check the shell integrity;
    4. Dowse the sealing infill SBP into the container with water until full-immersion; avoid kinks;
    5. After soaking the sealing infill for 40-60 s, remove and make a lengthwise cut not less than 3/4 of the ampule's length.;
    6. Send the sealing infill SBP to the explosive charge, avoid spillage
    7. Carefully compact (tamper) the sealing infill SBP using a stemmer. In this case, the electric wire, the detonating cord and waveguides must have a slack. The stemmer must be made of material that does not give sparks and its length should be longer than the hole's length. When setting, the sealing infill extends to provide additional compaction.
    8. The shot hole is ready for blasting.
    SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

    The requirements of "Safety rules in coal mines" and "Uniform safety rules for the development of ore, non-metallic and alluvial deposits in an underground manner", and Uniform Safety Rules for blasting operations" should be complied with when the sealing infill SBP works are performed. When the installation of the sealing infill SBP works is performed, the workers must wear personal protective equipment. The preparation and filling of the hole (well) with the charge works using the sealing infill SBP should be carried out by a shot-firer under the technical supervision by quliffied staff.

    PACKAGE TYPE

    The sealing infill SBP is packed in polyethylene bags taking into account the size of the capsules. The free top end of the bag is securely packed. In order to protect content against moisture and pollution, plastic bags with capsules are packed in cardboard boxes.

    STORAGE SHELF LIFE

    Mineral sealing infill SBP should be stored in the manufacturer's package in a dry open-air room with relative humidity not exceeding 60%, temperature from -60 to + 50°C. Storage period in the manufacturer's packaging is 12 months from the date of manufacture. At the site of application, no more than a daily dose of sealing infill SBP should be stored. Avoid ingress of moisture on the product when storing in the place of application.
